An Italian classic with a Talenti twist. Our affogato recipe combines rich espresso with creamy gelato for an effortlessly elegant dessert or an elevated afternoon pick-me-up.
INGREDIENTS

- 1 shot (about 1 oz) of freshly brewed hot espresso
- Optional toppings: Shaved dark chocolate, biscotti crumbles, or caramel drizzle
INSTRUCTIONS
- Scoop your gelato into a small glass or dessert bowl. Traditionally, affogato is made with vanilla gelato to let the espresso shine, but you can experiment with flavors like chocolate or caramel.
- Brew a fresh shot of espresso. The hotter, the better.
- Pour the espresso over the gelato, letting it to melt slightly into a rich, creamy blend.
- Enjoy as is or top with shaved dark chocolate, crumbled biscotti, or caramel sauce.
