President’s Day
Did you know that President’s Day was originally observed on Feb 22nd? This day was George Washington’s birthday! It is now celebrated on the third Monday of the month under The Uniform Monday Holiday Act. This bill was passed in 1968 and went into effect in 1971, as a way to give workers multiple long weekends.
