  3. 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  4. 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
  5. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  6. 1 tablespoon of Maille balsamic vinegar of Modena
  7. 3 large eggs
  8. 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

Print

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F

2. Combine the chocolate, the butter and the oil into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate. Stir the mixture and add both sugars as well as the Maille's Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Mix well and add the eggs. Blend until silky and set aside.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. Delicately fold the dry mixture into the chocolate mixture and spread the mixture in a pre-greased square dish.

4. Top the brownie mixture with chopped fruit of choice if you desire. We recommend berries such as blueberries, strawberries or raspberries.

5. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 24-28 minutes. If you like your brownies a little bit gooey, 24 minutes will do just fine. If you prefer them well-done, add a few minutes to the timer. Test readiness with a toothpick. If you have not topped the brownies with fruit, you can sprinkle sea salt or icing sugar on top while they are cooling.

6. Wait for them to cool and enjoy.
