- guava SAUCE:
- 2 tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 cup diced guava paste
- 1 tsp. Knorr® Granulated Bouillon Chicken Flavor, dissolved in 1 cup boiling water
- MEATBALLS:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp. Knorr® Granulated Bouillon Chicken Flavor
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
Directions
Print1. For GUAVA SAUCE, melt margarine in small saucepan over medium-high heat and cook onion and garlic 2 minutes. Add guava paste and prepared Knorr® Chicken flavor Bouillon and cook, stirring occasionally, until guava paste dissolves, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool slightly then puree in blender or food processor until smooth.
2. For MEATBALLS, combine all ingredients except olive oil in medium bowl and shape into 24 meatballs. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 3 minutes. Serve with GUAVA SAUCE.
