Orzo Casserole

Ingredients List
  1. 2 Tbsp. margarine
  2. 1 clove garlic, chopped
  3. 1 1/2 cups uncooked orzo pasta
  4. 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
  5. 3 1/4 cups water
  6. 6 ounces shiitake mushrooms or white mushrooms, sliced
  7. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves



1. Melt margarine in 3-quart heavy saucepan over medium heat and cook garlic with orzo, stirring constantly, 2-1/2 minutes or until golden. Stir in Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix blended with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 10 minutes. Add mushrooms; do not stir. Simmer covered 10 minutes. Stir in parsley. Turn into serving bowl. (Liquid will not be totally absorbed.) Let stand 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
