Savory Dijon Waffles with Creamy Dill Sauce

Print1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the butter, buttermilk, Maille Dijon Originale and the egg yolks until well combined.
2. In the bowl of the stand mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes.
3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients. Then gently stir in the buttermilk mixture before very carefully folding in the egg whites with a few strokes (about 12-14). The mixture won’t be fully combined and you should still see bits of the egg whites.
4. Preheat your waffle maker, then spray with cooking spray. Use about ¾ cup of batter per waffle and cook the waffles according to the manufacturer’s directions.
