Easy “Baked” Beans

Ingredients List
  1. 2 slices bacon, chopped
  2. 2 cans (19 oz. ea.) red kidney beans or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  3. 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Beefy Onion Soup Mix
  4. 1 1/2 cups water
  5. 1/4 cup ketchup
  6. 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar

1. In 3-quart saucepan, cook bacon over medium-high heat until crisp. Stir in beans and continue cooking, stirring frequently, 1 minute.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat.

3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 20 minutes or until thickened.
