- 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, removed from casings
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 package Knorr® Chicken Rice Side
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Directions
Print1. In a 12-inch skillet, cook sausage, onion and celery over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, 3 minutes or until sausage is browned.
2. Stir in Knorr® Rice Sides™ - Chicken flavor and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until golden brown. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until rice is tender.
3. Stir in almonds and, if desired, freshly ground black pepper.
