
Toasted Rice with Peas & Pine Nuts

- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 cup white onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups uncooked long grain rice
- 1 Knorr® Bouillon Cubes Chicken
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted

Print1. Melt margarine in large saucepot over medium heat and cook onion with garlic, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in rice, Knorr® Chicken Bouillon and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 10 minutes. Stir in peas and cook until rice is tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in pine nuts and season, if desired, with black pepper.
